Better World Books announces today that its recent partnership with Alibris, the largest independently owned and operated marketplace for sellers of new and used books, has already generated over $ 1.5 million in book sales for Alibriss independent sellers of new and used books. The success, the result of just six months of collaboration, far exceeds projections.

Better World Books, a for-profit venture, collects and sells new and used books online, donating a percentage of each sale to help fund literacy initiatives worldwide.
